I did not start this for you, to keep you 'updated' or to be 'internet friends'. I started this for me so I can remember.

I stopped posting on my other journal because I thought that would force me to write regularly in my real paper journal. It didn't happen that way. So many awesome things started happening, journalling was neglected entirely. I can't remember what I did two days ago, and I don't like that.

I also don't like fucking lazy people who stop caring about friends' lives once they aren't conveniently posted online. I mean, the internet is a great tool and I've made some awesome friends and connections with its help, but it's not life. My friendships are not contained within this machine.

So don't call me your "internet friend". I am real. I exist outside of your computer and it did not create me.
